What is special In Auxilium

Here education is a matter of the heart. The child is at the centre of the educational process. The ‘Preventive System also known as the 'Expressive System' is our style of educating which comprises of religion, reason and loving kindness. The environment is that of a Home where all feel welcome and are at-home. Children are awakened to sense of God and reverence to Him. They are taught to pray and turn to Him, the source and creator of all that exists. Mary, the Mother of Jesus is our model and inspirer.

Reason makes educating the young a lot easier. The young once convinced of the rationale; adhere to what is proposed to them and Salesian Loving kindness makes all the difference. Salesian Assistance is another trait of the Salesian Spirit. Sisters are on the playground: be it in the morning, during the break or at noon. This allows the young to enter into relationships and grow.

The environment characterized by the family spirit gives the young an opportunity to be themselves. In this atmosphere 'Groups' flourish as young like to be in groups and the school has a number of groups to cater to the interests of the child. Our founders St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello continue to be our model and guide in educating the young. Bl. Laura Vicuna, a Salesian past pupil is a fruit of our system of education who died in an aura of sanctity. 'Doing the right thing, at the right time and the right place and solely for the love of God' as St. Mary Mazzarello puts it succintly.

Over the years the institution has grown not only in numbers but also in its approach and teaching-learning methods. Professionalism is sought in all its areas of functioning. A smart classroom with smart boards, a renewed computer lab, basket ball and other sports activities keep the young agile.

In all this the child gradually discovers her potentialities and corresponds to fulfilling God's plan for her life. Auxilium continues to soar with its students and alumni living to the ideals inculcated in them. Living lives rich in values and with a genuine concern for the neighbour. In its desire to reach out even more Auxilium has now spread its wings to the disadvantaged on the peripheries of the society.
